		<description>How strange that we wrote about the same topic today on our blogs. 

You make some good points. I argued that the canon needed to be updated but I never really thought about why there is a canon to begin with. I like how you point out that some books are in danger of being forgotten. I think this is even more of a concern today with the constant bombardment of media that we are all exposed to. 

And if you say, it is the conversation that is more important that the canon we need to make sure that the lines of communication stay open and that everyone can have a say. That&#039;s where Twitter and blogging can help. But only if we continue to read fiction.</description>
